Evansville, IN – The Evansville Fire Department has promoted Lieutenant Ryan Leibring to the rank of captain, recognizing his years of service and dedication to the community.
Captain Leibring joined the department in 2009 and has served at Stations 9, 8, 4, and 5 throughout his career. Department officials highlighted his commitment to excellence and leadership in both daily operations and emergency response situations.
In a lighter note shared by colleagues, Captain Leibring listens to the song “Lean on Me” to get pumped up before challenging duties. Among his personal aspirations, he has expressed a bucket list goal of following the geese from Canada to Texas.
The promotion was celebrated by fellow firefighters, city officials, and members of the public, who took to social media to offer congratulations and commend his dedication to service.
