Evansville, IN – Evansville city boards and commissions will meet throughout the week as the city begins 2026 with a full schedule of public meetings at City Hall.
According to the City of Evansville, several boards and commissions are scheduled to convene from Monday through Thursday, covering topics that include public safety, redevelopment, planning, parks, and infrastructure. City officials said the meetings provide residents with opportunities to stay informed and participate in local government.
The Evansville Police Merit Commission is set to meet Monday at 4:15 p.m. in Room 307. On Tuesday, the Redevelopment Commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. in Room 301, followed by the Fire Department Pension Board of Trustees at 9:00 a.m. in Room 307.
Meetings will continue Wednesday with the Police Department Pension Board of Trustees at 8:15 a.m. in Room 307. Later that day, the Board of Park Commissioners will meet at noon in Room 301.
On Thursday, the Board of Public Works is scheduled to meet at 1:30 p.m. in Room 301. The Metropolitan Planning Organization will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Room 301, and the Area Plan Commission will meet at 5:00 p.m., also in Room 301.
City officials encouraged residents to attend meetings of interest and remain engaged with city government as the new year gets underway.
