Evansville, IN – The City of Evansville announced a series of temporary road closures scheduled throughout the week of Oct. 20–26 to accommodate Halloween events and community activities, including the setup of Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights at Garvin Park.
Residents are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly as several streets will experience closures at various times. Roads affected include:

E. Division St. from Vann Ave. to Boeke Rd. – Oct. 20–24

Main St. from 9th St. to Sycamore St.; 9th St. from Locust St. to Sycamore St. – Oct. 24, 5 p.m. to Oct. 26, 12 p.m.

Walnut St. from Weinbach Ave. to Rotherwood Ave. – Oct. 25, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Garvin Park Area – Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights – Oct. 25, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Northbound 11th Ave. from Franklin St. to alley south of Michigan St. – Oct. 25, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City officials advised motorists to use alternate routes and remain alert for pedestrians attending events in these areas.
