VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. — Vanderburgh County residents will have the opportunity to responsibly dispose of old electronics during an Electronics Recycling Day event this Saturday.
The Vanderburgh County Solid Waste Management District is hosting the event from 8 a.m. to noon at C&I Electronics, located at 424 E. Inglefield Rd. The initiative is designed to help residents recycle various electronic materials at no charge, promoting environmentally safe disposal practices.
Accepted items include a range of electronic devices, such as computers, laptops, printers, monitors, modems, scanners, TVs, DVD players, DVR devices, digital cameras, and fax machines. However, copy machines and household appliances, including microwaves, will not be accepted.
Officials emphasized that the program is exclusively for Vanderburgh County households, and items from businesses will not be allowed.
