EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A deadly motorcycle crash occurred on Highway 41 north of St. George, near the Hampton Inn, on Monday evening. The incident was reported shortly before 6:15 p.m. Evansville Police and the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.
According to authorities, the crash involved a motorcycle, but few other details have been released at this time. The northbound lanes of Highway 41 were temporarily closed as investigators worked at the scene. Traffic was diverted, causing some delays during the investigation.
By 7:30 p.m., the scene had been cleared, and the northbound lanes were reopened to traffic. While the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, authorities are expected to release further information as it becomes available.
