BEDFORD – A Bloomington man was arrested early Monday morning after a Bedford Police officer received a report of a suspicious male at Storage Express on Bundy Lane.
Officers responded to the business at 3:34 a.m.
The caller reported the male was in a white box truck and had been on the property for more than five hours.
When the officer arrived in the area he found the truck traveling southbound on Bundy Lane. The officer noticed the truck’s license plate was expired.
The officer initiated a traffic stop on Bundy Lane, however the driver continued onto State Road 158 and pulled into Revere’s gas station.
Deliman told the officer he was moving items back and forth to the storage unit.
The officer reported Deliman was slightly lethargic and kept closing his eyes while speaking with the officer and was nodding off.
The officer was then given consent to search Deliman’s truck.
While the officer was conducting the search, Deliman walked to the opposite side of the parking lot.
In the vehicle, the officer found a key box that contained a baggie of crystal meth, and a cut straw with meth residue.
Deliman was arrested on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
