Anderson, Indiana – After colliding with a van in Anderson, a 26-year-old man and his passenger were propelled from their minibike, and they are now in critical condition.
The collision happened early on Friday just before 6 a.m. at the junction of Crystal and Webster streets, according to the Anderson Police Department.
The 26-year-old driver of the minibike collided with the rear passenger side of the van, according to the police, while carrying a 23-year-old passenger on the back. According to police, at the time of the collision, the van driver was proceeding through the junction in the direction of Broadway Street.
After being ejected from their minibikes, the two riders were taken to a hospital. The 26-year-old was eventually taken to Indianapolis, where his condition is severe.
According to police, the van driver remained on the site and is helping with the investigation.
