Evansville, IN – Authorities responded to a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of St. George Road and Hitch-Peters Road on Sunday evening. Vanderburgh County dispatch confirmed that the incident was reported at approximately 6:31 p.m.
According to police, one vehicle was traveling westbound while the other was heading north when the two vehicles collided at the intersection. Both drivers, as well as their passengers, sustained significant but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Emergency responders transported all four individuals to the hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions have not been disclosed at this time.
An Evansville Police Department sergeant indicated that the intersection should be reopened within an hour, as authorities work to clear the scene. The crash remains under investigation, though no further details have been released.
