Indianapolis, Indiana – According to the Indiana Department of Health, 7,182 Hoosiers tested positive for COVID-19 in the previous week.
Also in the previous week, a total of 15 Hoosiers died, and no probable deaths were reported. The state has recorded 22,923 deaths and 976 probable deaths for “All Time” from the coronavirus.
The “All Time” count for Indiana shows 1,782,265 Hoosiers have tested positive for the virus, and a total of 20,293,457 tests have been administered.
According to the state say, 602 Hoosiers were hospitalized Tuesday with COVID-19.
9,848,895 vaccine doses have been given in Indiana, and 3,793,854 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated, IDOH said. That’s about 54.6% of the total population.
1,612,416 Hoosiers are estimated to have recovered from the virus, according to the Regenstrief Institute.
There have been more than 552,418,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 6,344,000 deaths, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
