EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An 18-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after being caught driving at an extremely high speed on the Lloyd Expressway, according to the Evansville Police Department.
Officers conducting traffic enforcement on the expressway observed a Toyota Camry traveling at 103 miles per hour in a 50 mph zone, more than double the posted speed limit. The vehicle was stopped, and the driver was identified as Raven Jackson.
Jackson was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving. Following her arrest, she was booked into Vanderburgh County Jail, and her vehicle was impounded by police.
The Evansville Police Department continues to enforce traffic laws to ensure the safety of all motorists on the road.
